Arts Alive! has been building towards a couple big projects. Get involved TODAY!
1. The 6th Arts and Economic Prosperity Study is coming! We partner with Americans for the Arts to look at the economic impact of nonprofit arts and culture organizations, and create a calculator to help you better understand your individual organization's impact on local jobs, local tax revenue, and more. But we need your participation to do it. We need you to survey your audiences at at least 4 events over the course of a year and to fill out information about your organization in an online study
2. We are close to launching videos on the Arts Access study we conducted in 2021. We have data about the barriers to attending community arts events AND the ways arts presenters can make welcoming spaces. We hope you'll share these with your staff, board and volunteers! We want to collect information from you about how YOU are making your programs and activities more accessible to community members, and we want to SHARE it with our community partners.
3. The Arts Corridor project is working towards a design plan for downtown Keene. We recognize that Keene is the urban hub for our entire region, and we want to make sure the voices of artists and organizations are at the table when we host the design workshop March 22-24. It is also our hope to organize a couple of pop up events for this area in the next year or so - and we want local arts to be represented in force!
