Arts Alive offers incubation and fiscal sponsorship to groups seeking to start a nonprofit arts or culture oriented organization in New Hampshire. Arts Alive also offers a basic fiscal sponsorship for individual artists and one-time projects.

Eligibility
Group Projects
Individual projects for public benefit presented at publicly accessible locations that have a beginning and an ending date are eligible - like a one-time mural festival. These would typically fall under Basic Fiscal Sponsorship.
Individual Artists
An artist seeking fiscal sponsorship to raise tax deductible donations for a project are eligible - like an oral history project. These would typically fall under Basic Fiscal Sponsorship.
Group Initiatives
Community members who are working together towards a shared cultural or artistic vision and would eventually like to launch their own nonprofit are eligible - like founding a museum, makerspace, or performing arts center. These would typically fall under Full Incubation Services.

Basic Fiscal Sponsorship
Fee: 10% of income
501(c)3 status through fiscal sponsorship for collecting tax deductible donations and applying for grants that require 501(c)3 status
Mailing address
A separate bank account for funds (if funds exceed $10K)
Quickbooks accounting with a professional bookkeeper & financial reports if needed
990 tax filing for all activities associated with fiscal sponsorship
Monthly processing deposits, invoice payments, and reimbursements
Mail-in donation processing and online donation processing through our online payment system with immediate notification when donations are made
Annual official 501(c)3 donation acknowledgement to donors
Monthly donor reports
Full Incubation Services
Fee: 15% of income
501(c)3 status through fiscal sponsorship for collecting tax deductible donations and applying for grants that require 501(c)3 status
Mailing address
A separate bank account for funds
Quickbooks accounting with a professional bookkeeper & monthly financial reports
990 tax filing for all activities associated with fiscal sponsorship
Weekly processing deposits, invoice payments, and reimbursements
Mail-in donation processing and online donation processing through our online payment system with immediate notification when donations are made
Quarterly official 501(c)3 donation acknowledgement to donors
Monthly donor reports
Online sales bookkeeping integration for no more than two online systems (for tickets, merchandise, services, etc. on Stripe, Square, Paypal, Eventbrite, etc.)
Basic guidance on business name registration and nonprofit set-up
Support on grant applications & reporting
Arts Alive Membership (discounts, business listing, cultural tourism promotion and arts opportunities email lists)
Referrals & Mentoring, monthly or as needed
Occasionally we are able to offer bi-weekly payroll services and processing, workers comp, and unemployment insurance, which are all available with an extra fee
We also offer “Pass Through” fiscal sponsorship for some projects. This is only available for projects that have between 1-3 donations and 1-3 payees receiving the money. The fee for this service is 10% of the funds that pass through Arts Alive.
