FORMING AN ADVISORY BOARD

We’re thrilled to be actively working toward forming an advisory board, which will include people throughout the Monadnock Region who are interested in helping Arts Alive to thrive. These folks will include past board members, people who have been active in the arts, and people who have an interest in uplifting the arts. Want to be on the advisory board? Strategic Planning

The Arts Alive board approved a new strategic plan in February 2024. Check it out here.

The focus areas include: organizational capacity and sustainability, physical presence in the community, continuing quality programs that spark connection and ignite creativity, and exploring if and how Arts Alive can provide space as a resource for the arts community.

making a summer splash!

Summer is always such a great time for the arts in the Monadnock Region. This summer, we’ll be tabling at loads of fun events (and will be bringing artists with us to dazzle and delight…watch for updates and calls for volunteers!), co-hosting the Ewing Arts Awards, putting on a downtown Keene event - the Elevate the Arts Festival, and we just wrapped up ArtWalk Keene, among other things. Our champion staffer, Nina Taylor Dunn, is leading the charge on our new meet-up programs for artists and arts ambassadors. The meet-ups have been a blast. If you’re interested, check ‘em out! We are also launching our first ever printed guide to the arts in the Monadnock region. With significant success in producing collaborative advertising in publications from Yankee Magazine to the Monadnock region Thrive Guide, Arts Alive determined this was the year to launch our own publication - the Art Book! We’re excited to share it with you.
