Arts Alive offers fiscal sponsorship to new arts organizations working their way towards independence as nonprofits and to artists exploring community-centered projects and creating work in the Monadnock region.

the big idea

Contenders is the story of Fall Mountain Regional High School, their football team, and the turnaround of the program under new head coach Orion Binney, as well as, the story of the community that continues to support them through thick and thin.Contenders will shed a light on the often overlooked Fall Mountain school district, its towns, and their history coming together as one community to support their high school. This project will show the passion, creativity, and spirit of the community. Sports stories are inherently human stories that tackle perseverance, teamwork, and character building – all aspects that perfectly embody the Fall Mountain community.

Goals

1. Create a compelling, feature length documentary of roughly 90 minutes by the end of summer, 2025

2. Acceptance into film festivals
