Keep the Arts Alive and Accessible in the Monadnock Region
We’ve lost over $100,000 in expected public funding due to political decisions and policy changes. These cuts jeopardize our operations, artist support, and the dream of building a permanent community arts space. But you can help keep our vision alive.
We are facing a crisis and an opportunity.
In just a few months, Arts Alive lost up to $55,000 in public funding from the NEA and the USDA, and stands to lose another $55,000 from the de-funding effort impacting the NH State Council on the Arts.
These losses impact:
General operations that support hundreds of artists
Fiscal sponsorships for community-led creative projects
A feasibility study and planning process to create a shared arts space — with studios, practice rooms, exhibition space, and more
But we aren’t giving up. With your help, we can stay strong — and build the creative future our region deserves..
What We Do
For over a decade, Arts Alive has fueled creativity in the Monadnock Region. We:
Support artists and creative entrepreneurs with resources, fiscal sponsorship, and visibility
Run a robust events calendar and promote access to local cultural happenings
Are developing a long-term plan to create a shared community art center
We’re small, lean, and deeply rooted in community — but without funding, we can’t keep going.
Our Goal: $110,000 by Sept 30
Every dollar helps. Here's where your gift goes:
$20K – Basic operations
$30K – Artist project support
$30K – Capacity to develop an Arts Center
$30K – Arts center feasibility study
