Elevate the Arts Fest

a celebration of creativity and community

Arts Alive ignites creativity, sparks connections, and serves individuals who inspire others to dream, create, and engage. To this end, we are excited to bring you this annual outdoor community arts festival and fundraiser, Elevate the Arts Fest, in the Commercial St Lot on Gilbo Ave. Keep reading to find out about the PERFORMANCES, ARTS MARKET, FREE ARTS ACTIVITIES, GAMES, FOOD, and RAFFLE we have planned for this year!

Parking is free in downtown Keene on Sunday and will be available in the Gilbo Ave lots. This festival happens rain or shine.

performances

Touch the Ocean will host an open mic from 11am-2pm. Doug the Devil Stick Man will to stun the crowd with a juggling performance from 2:30-3pm. Theo Martey & The Akwaaba Ensemble—Traditional West African Drumming, Dancing, and Music, will take the stage from 3-3:45pm. Puppet performers from Sandglass Theater will roam the festival. Raffle drawings at 4!

arts market

17ROX Artist Studios will host an all day artist/artisan market with 20+ vendors. Walk through a sea of handmade jewelry, pottery, screen-printed skateboards, honey, cookies, and more.

Each of these wonderful creators has a goodie waiting for you in our raffle!

activities

Look forward to a Wakadoodles ART AREA, DIY TERRARIUMS, dried flower BOUQUET MAKING, FACE PAINTING, ORIGAMI, JUGGLING with Flying Gravity Circus, BALLOON ANIMALS, and community MURAL PAINTING! We’ll have some GIANT GAMES of checkers, chess, connect four, and cornhole. Seek out the Bliss Coaching & Wellness tent to nourish your bodies with some structured yoga or stretching!

We’re delighted to welcome Yahso Jamaican Grille and Toasty Buns as our food vendors.

Look out for these summertime essentials: fresh-squeezed lemonade by Shaken not Stirred and ice cream from Frisky Cow Gelato!

Grab a ticket packet and enter raffles for various prizes from local restaurants, stores, performing arts centers, and artists! Bring home art, host a musician for a dinner party concert, win local products, and more!
