Join us to discuss post pandemic realities of artists and arts organizations

In December 2023, Arts Alive held a series of Potluck Arts Listening Sessions to connect and hear everyone's stories and to envision how we can tackle any challenges together. We focused on how things have changed in the arts world following the pandemic, and how we can adapt and support each other in the future.

We heard from:

• artists and art educators, full-time and retired

• staff of nonprofit organizations

• staff and board members of arts organizations

• leaders of community initiatives

What we heard:

• a need for increased networking opportunities and community events for artists

• a need for greater awareness of available resources for education, support, and growth for artists

• a need for increased intercommunication and collaboration between arts and nonprofit organizations

• a need for effectively reaching and maintaining staff, volunteers, donors, and audience members

• & more!

In January 2024, we created a JAMBOARD with all the ideas from the Listening Sessions and held a virtual lunch hour meeting to discuss our findings and best next steps forward. We opened the board a week prior to our discussion for the community to view, brainstorm, and interact with the ideas!
