My art has always been building with words. It’s led me on every adventure I’ve had. I was born and raised in Keene, New Hampshire. Started performing and recording music professionally 20 years ago and never turned back. I rap/sing and recently started producing. Toured the country for seven years straight. Released 13 albums and made 2 incredible kids.

When I stopped touring I started working with people of all ages on songwriting and recording original music. I’m in the 5 piece band Adam and the Flood and I’m also founder and co-owner of Echo Finch, a music licensing business that works exclusively with New Hampshire based musicians.

It’s always been important for me to represent where I’m from. The Monadnock Region has supported me for my whole career. I used to pay my rent by selling my albums at Turn it Up. I’ll never forget that.

As the next generation of writers and artists start evolving into their own ideas I want to do my best to help foster those minds in any way I can by being involved with the schools and groups like Arts Alive!. Every summer I work at Moco’s summer camp, CAKE, to create a month long recording experience with kids from 7-17 years old. I’m lucky to work with so many talented kids that truly have unique voices and thoughts.

I also started working with a violence prevention group called Green Dot to help them with music for a marketing campaign. That led to being more involved on many levels and helping strengthen their presence in the Monadnock region. They heard the messages in my music and thought we could work better together.

I’ve been fortunate to work with many groups and schools in the area. I’d like to see more schools using songwriting and recording as a method of therapy and release for kids. In my experience it’s a lifeline to kids on the spectrum especially. The proof is in the recordings. You can hear the joy and depth these kids have. They are capturing their true selves and starting to understand who they are. It’s remarkable and beautiful.
